About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing loan payments, updating customer information, and providing clear explanations about loan statuses. This role involves guiding customers through our online processes and referring them to the client website for additional assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
○ Payment Collection: Handle payment collections for customers' loans, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
○ Information Updates: Update and maintain accurate customer information in our system.
○ Loan Status Review: Review and communicate the status of customers' loans, providing detailed information as needed.
○ Declined Loan Explanations: Clearly explain the reasons for loan declines to customers and offer guidance on next steps.
○ Website Assistance: Refer customers to the client website for further information and assist them with navigating the online process.

Working Hours:
○ Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with a rotating schedule.
○ Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts.
○ Breaks: 2 (15-minute) breaks and 1 (40-minute) lunch break.
○ Days Off: 2 days off per week, which vary.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma.

    • Experience is a plus.


  • Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.

    • Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and tools.

    • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult or irate customers with patience and professionalism.

    • Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.


  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.


  • Personal Attributes:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
